[FEATURED IMAGE:Mr. Armstrong meets with King Hussein of Jordan.] According to former Armstrong follower and Freemason Marion McNair in his book "Armstrongism, Religion or Rip-Off?" (here), Herbert Armstrong was close with both Jordanian and Arab leaders during the 1960s. Armstrong was able to accurately prophecy the 1967 Six-Day War, but McNair says this is because the Jordanian Government informed him of the upcoming conflict.  Armstrong took this a step further and prophecied that Israel would bomb the Dome of the Rock and build the Third Temple (which didn't happen).  I don't think Armstrong was on the side of the Jews, I don't think he was saying this prophecy was necessarily a good thing, and I don't think he was a Christian Zionist.  Why was Armstrong so close with Jordanian officials? From what I have been reading, I have been detecting an undercurrent of anti-Zionism in the Armstrong cult. This could go along with their antipathy to Freemasonry.  An anti-Masonic and anti-Zionist cult would be more likely to be working with the Arabs than Israel. But Armstrong promoted British-Israelism, which usually has a place for the Jews returning to Israel and co-ruling the world with Britain-America, so where do the Jews fit in in Armstrong's prophecy?  Are they there to build the Third Temple only to usher in the Anti-Christ?
