Herbert Armstrong throughout his life tried to distance himself from accusations that he was ever involved with the Jehovah's Witnesses. While he was never a Jehovah's Witness, he did obviously take doctrines from them. One of these doctrines was a rejection of pagan holidays like Christmas and Easter.
